Before attempting to run a General Ledger Report, you need to know that many of these reports are dependant upon the data under Accounting: Transaction History.  (see Transaction History)

If you have not posted entries in Accounting: Post Transactions to Transaction History, then the information you seek will not be included in these reports.  (see Post Transactions)
