Credit Cards On File

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

When tendering payment by credit card, you may choose to lookup a credit card used previously by the customer.  If the card is not available, you may add, edit, and delete as needed.

The customer's credit card list is also accessible while editing the customer record.

NOTE: A force transaction is only to be used when the customer has received a valid approval code already, usually by phone from the Call Authorization Center from card issuing bank. But since a force transaction will always return an APPROVAL, some people run these thinking they are all set, but ones sent without a valid approval code will chargeback to the merchant.
