To secure the register so that it is not used by any unauthorized person.  The next user must choose the Log In button and enter a valid sales ID and password.

You cannot log out while an invoice is open on screen.  You must either clear the sale or suspend the invoice.

When Logged Out, a line item entry is added to the invoice screen.
