When an age controlled inventory item is added to the invoice, you will be immediately prompted to confirm the customer's age by either swiping the driver's license, entering the birthdate on the driver's license, or through some other method. If not working Check the Station Settings: Transactions: Age Verification to make sure it is activated.  Otherwise, check the category settings for age verification.

The Age Check button allows you to verify the customer's age even before starting the sale of any items.
