POSitive Utilities

A variety of utilities which need only be used upon instruction from your dealer or POSitive Support staff.  It is accessed through Maintenance: Data Utilities and by choosing Utilities.

Utilities:

Update Report Layouts - reload standard forms and reports, this will not overwrite any custom made forms
Verify Security Settings - activate and apply additional employee security options if available.
Verify Customers (Phone Numbers) - review phone numbers for formats which may have been imported
Create SQL Indexes - (optional) for rebuilding SQL indexes of data to speed up processing
About - displays software license, version, and copyright information
State Tax Import - utilities for importing tax rates from specific states incorporating destination taxation  (please contact your dealer)
Verify Vendors - (Multi-Site Module) - Vendors are only added at the master site.  If a remote site cannot find a vendor which was added at the master site, then run this utility at the master site.  The remote site will receive a new update of vendors.
