An example of Category Code Plus SKU
The AutoSKU Label contains the code for the Mystery Books category = MYS- (The hyphen helps separate elements)
On the AutoSKU Setup view, activate "Category AUTOSKU At: Start Of SKU"
This will place the code MYS- with the next available number 300077 (300076 has already been used) when an inventory item for this category is created.
When you create an inventory item for the category, as soon as you press Enter after typing the Description the AUTOSKU is automatically assigned.
Note that the SKU is automatically highlighted (shaded).
| • | Press Enter and the number will be retained. |
| • | Press Backspace and the number will be erased. You can then enter the barcode on the package by scanning it, or create any SKU of your choosing. |
