The general rule is that only the Master Site can delete inventory items which are shared with other sites.

Items added at the Remote Site CAN BE deleted by the Remote Site.

Simply highlight the item and there is a Delete button.

 

If the Delete button is NOT visible, then the Master Site has already incorporated the item into the system. In this case, it is a restriction on the Remote site to not be able to delete ANY inventory items which the Master site has manipulated.

Only the master site can delete items.

 

TIPS:

--Consider creating a category named 2BeDeleted at the Master Site.

--Have the Remote site move the items to be deleted into the category 2BeDeleted.

--The Remote site will also have to zero the stock counts of any item to be deleted.

 

--The MASTER site can choose to mass delete the items from the category, by choosing to filter the inventory list by the category 2BeDeleted. Then choosing to Tag All.

--When the master site chooses to Delete it items, be sure to check mark the option "Force Delete of Shared Items."
